GENERAL INFORMATION

Himalayan salt is a fossil salt that formed in the secondary era over 200 million years ago. Since then, the power of the sun, which caused the drying up of the seas, is enclosed in the salt crystals. In those distant periods, large quantities of salt gradually deposited on the earth in successive layers, forming sometimes thicknesses of tens of meters. Following the drift of the continents, the region where this concentration of salt was greater was identified as the Himalayas, over 2500 km of land with mountains over 8000 meters high. Unlike the white salt we find in supermarkets, Himalayan pink salt is not refined and retains all the oligominerals necessary for the optimal psycho-physical balance of our body, made available thanks to the millenary pressure of the mountains on the salt deposits.
