Henna..okay, but what color is it?

Henna..okay, but what color is it? Natural henna seems to be gaining more and more popularity in Italy as well. These are natural dyes that not only allow you to color your hair but also nourish and preserve its volume. Nothing to do with supermarket dyes that, beyond some immediate nice results and compliments from acquaintances met on the street, over time tend to weaken the scalp and ruin the vigor and shine of our hair. Therefore, purchasing pure and high-quality henna is the first step we can take to give ourselves healthy hair as we grow. This is often an underestimated issue by teenagers who often use aggressive dyes too lightly, regretting at only 27 years old for never having used a quality henna that takes care of their hair. This is why henna, or henn or henna color, as it is often called, has found increasing popularity here in Italy as well. Therefore, those who claim "I don't know where to find it" to justify not using quality henna have no excuses and should not complain if they see their hair health deteriorate with each wash!! There are many online henna shops that offer everyone the opportunity to use high-quality henna color at very affordable prices with just a few clicks and waiting only a few days. One of the main problems that really exist and limit the spread of henna among the female population is another. Too many times I have seen ladies ruin their makeup and perm for having thought intensely: "Yes, okay, henna, but how can I be sure of what color will come out?" A very valid objection, considering that henna is a 100% natural hair dye, it is not always easy to determine with certainty what the final result will be, especially since this can change depending on the original color on which the henna color will be applied. Therefore, we have immersed ourselves for a day in the shoes and...hair of famous henna models, involving friends and relatives, and conducted a test that will most likely clarify not only the hair but also the ideas of many still skeptical and reluctant women towards henna, precisely because they are not sure of the final result that will follow. Depending on the original hair color, we decided to apply henna to different natural colors and then photographed the final result. Simple, but extremely useful! By doing this, it will be easier to select the most appropriate color and compare the shade of your hair with the shades we tried during this experiment. Trust us, we cannot treat henna as a stranger, but approach it as a trusted friend who, once known, will give health to our hair. However, please note that the photos we took should be considered as a general indication, as for a more realistic view of them, it is recommended to use a gray monitor background, neither yellowish nor bluish (shades that are often used to improve computer efficiency or color contrast). Let's start this experiment using black henna as a reference, which we will apply to various hair types. Original Color: Light Blonde Applied Henna: Black Henna Application Time: 120 minutes The difficulty of fixing black henna (Indigo) on light hair, such as blonde hair, is well known. It is a good rule, in fact, that black henna should be added to the hair only if previously colored with red henna or henna red mahogany. As highlighted in the photo, the hair in the hennaed area turned green, while in the lower area of the hair, subsequently straightened, the black henna changed color, thanks to the heat of the straightener, and therefore turned into a bluish-purple hue.
