Darjeeling teas are the first teas of the new annual harvest to arrive in Europe. It is absolutely essential not to miss the opportunity to try such a fresh tea to understand how this factor is crucial in the quality of a tea and its infusion. This is largely due to the success that these teas consistently encounter, Darjeeling teas are unique, there are no other terroirs, other cultivars that reach such complex bouquets.

The Darjeeling Seeyok 2023 black tea in particular is a fantastic tea, with delicate notes of flowers and citrus, it can sometimes remind of orange blossoms, thanks to the work of tea chief Gautam Mohan and his team of tea masters at the Seeyok tea garden.

We have tried it both hot and cold infused, both are definitely worth trying. We have gone up to 3-4 infusions with the same leaves.

The Darjeeling Seeyok is a black tea but with a low percentage of oxidation, easily deduced from the green color of its leaves. The processing it undergoes tends to bring out the delicate notes and antioxidant properties of this tea.

Did you also know that this tea can be prepared with cold infusion and become a delicious iced tea?
