The copalera is an incense burner, a bowl where you can burn resin incense, smudges, incense grains, etc.
It takes its name from copal, a type of resin burned in ceremonies and rituals throughout South America.
Entirely made of terracotta, it is resistant even to high temperatures.

HOW TO USE A COPALERA?

The copalera is a very simple and essential object inspired by the humility and connection of South American peoples; at the top, there is a bowl where incense can be placed.
If using incense grains or resins, a charcoal should be placed first, followed by the grains.
It can also be used to place palo santo or smudges of white sage or other types of smudges.

Once the incense is lit, hold it from the bottom and pass it near the spaces or people you wish to bless with the incense.
You can also blow on the smoke to direct it better.

Incense, the more natural the better, has great virtues, they are wonderful ornaments for our rituals and help in connecting with the sacred.
They are used in many religious traditions or those related to the divine from east to west across the globe.
We can also use them personally to purify a space or people that we feel are particularly charged.
They are also great for resetting energy, but this varies greatly depending on the plant used.
