The Keemun Black Snail is one of the best qualities of Keemun black tea, of which there are various grades: for example Keemun Mao Feng, or Keemun Hao Ya. The Keemun Black Snail is superior in quality to all of these. You can immediately see it from its leaves rolled up like small snails on themselves (hence the name black snail). You can immediately feel it by opening the bag of high-quality loose tea. And finally, you can taste it in the cup, once infused.

Notes of dark chocolate, never bitter, even if over-extracted. A touch of spices and almonds in the background. The harvest of this tea is done by selecting only the youngest leaves and golden buds of the plants.

The harvest period is also very important: its leaves are processed before the festival of lights (Qing Ming), towards the end of March, at altitudes of about 1000-1200 meters, when the plants are still awakening from the winter lunar phase. It is a creation born only 10 years ago by naturally crossing the varieties of the best Keemun and the cultivar of Bi Lo Chun (green snail).
The result is a black tea of absolute value.
