The cast iron teapot "Ibuki" recalls the classic model "Arare" あられ of Japanese teapots. Arare is hail and refers to the grains found on the edges of this beautiful teapot; the hail recalls the changes of season, the transition between winter and spring. From the first models of teapots, there have been many reinterpretations of this style.
Cast iron teapots are very beautiful and valuable objects that will accompany us for a long time given their proverbial resistance.
A couple of tips: Preferably do not place it directly on the flame because even if cast iron is resistant, its internal enamel could crack over time. We can use a very low flame and a flame spreader, but the advice is to pour the already boiling water inside.
Once finished using it, rinse without invasive detergents and dry with a dry cloth to avoid leaving moisture inside.
