Some historical notes: The hookah has always represented smoking in the East. It is important to consider that in the past it was not as easy as today to find cigarettes, which were expensive and short-lived. Instead, the hookah and its molasses have a lower cost and, like everything in our store, it revolves at a decidedly slow and relaxed pace. To smoke the hookah, you need to sit down and have time, preferably sipping a cup of tea and reflecting on life (if smoking alone) or chatting (if smoking with someone else). The hookah consists of 4 parts, the first is the base: a glass vase containing water. This vase is connected to the second part, which is the heart of the hookah, a kind of brass or steel tube worked and decorated, this regulator takes the smoke from the tobacco and emits it into the vase when inhaled from the "lai". The lai is a flexible tube connected to the regulator and ending on the smoker's lips when pulling. The last part is located at the top of the regulator and is a container of terracotta or ceramic called "haggar" where the molasses tobacco is placed and above the natural burning charcoal. Hookah tobacco is not really tobacco but scented molasses, which is obtained from the processing of sugarcane waste. It is important to remember that molasses have a tar percentage of 0.0% and nicotine at 0.5%. Our hookahs are entirely handmade, easy to use, just a few instructions are needed: HOW TO PREPARE YOUR HOOKAH The glass container Pour water into the glass container of your hookah, so that the tube remains immersed for 2-3cm (Fig. 1). Carefully insert the metal tube into the glass container, making sure the closure is as airtight as possible (use the appropriate gaskets provided). Attach the circular plate to the top of the metal structure. Connect the flexible tube of the mouthpiece to the dispensing spout in the central part of the hookah (one or more outlets depending on the models), using the appropriate gasket provided. The ceramic bowl Place the ceramic container on the top of the hookah and put at least 10-15 grams of tobacco inside, crumbling it with your fingers. Close the tobacco with a sheet of aluminum and pierce the surface in several points with the special poker (Fig. 2). Light one or two charcoal pieces and place them on the perforated aluminum foil. The charcoals on the market are instant-lighting and their duration allows smoking for 40-50 minutes. Inhale from the mouthpiece. After a few inhales, smoke will be created inside the glass vase. At this point, the hookah is ready and you can start inhaling the dense and fragrant smoke. Maintenance Remember to change the water and wash the glass container, the flexible tube, and the central metal tube with the appropriate brushes preferably every 1-2 uses. This way, your hookah will enhance the pleasures of your smoking experience.
